Wrapping Floss...

Good afternoon!
I hope everyone is staying nice and warm! (I know, not an easy thing, if you're experiencing weather like I am currently.  It is a whopping -4 degrees Fahrenheit, but it feels like -10 degrees, with the wind chill.  No matter what the number, it is just plain COLD!)

Anyway, I thought I would share some progress photos from last night...

Not quite what you had in mind, I bet...

Well, I didn't do any stitching last night, but I did get 28 skeins of floss wrapped!
(Quite a bit of progress!)

I am trying to get my stitching stuff more organized, so I took a pile like this...

And turned it into this...

(I know, same picture, but I just love all the bright colors.)

My wonderful husband bought me a new, 2-tiered tackle box, that should be here Monday, for my floss and stitching supplies. (I all ready have one large, double sided tackle box full of floss, but I've run out room and need another one.)  So, I'm trying to get a head start on wrapping floss.
Plus, I've ordered some new supplies, so I have to have a place to put them!

Unfortunately, wrapping the floss took up all my stitching time last night, so I didn't make any progress on my projects...
...I'll just have to make up for it tonight!

I also thought I would share a few photos from our back yard...
(It does look pretty with all the snow.)

We actually got quite a bit of fresh, new snow last night...

The poor birds, their feeders are completely covered with the white stuff!

Well, I'm afraid I have to get back work and back to wrapping floss...
Hope everyone has a great Friday and a terrific weekend!

    1. Thanks Summer!
I will definitely take pictures, once my new tackle box arrives.
And yes, we have plenty of snow! We could do without anymore, but winter is just getting started.

  2. I love the pretty colors, too. There is something so satisfying about wrapping embroidery floss on those little bobbins. I love looking at them in their boxes. I have mine in the plastic boxes for floss, nothing special, but it does the trick. I do love having a stash of floss so that when I want to start a project, I usually have at least half the floss colors that I need. Happy Stitching! :)
