Mid-Week Round Up

Happy "Hump" Day!
I hope everyone is having a great week.

This week has been full of lots of stitching and a few finishes...
Up first, mommy and baby whale...

I think it came out pretty well...
...there was an error in the tail area, not really sure what happened, but I think it still came out cute.

(The whale pattern was designed by Diane Machin.)

The next finish is my little kiwi George...

So, where is the dialog from...
(I posted it on Sunday, May 22nd)
Here's the line again:
"My puny kiwi wings weren't big enough for Delores. Oh no, oh no... she had to have AN ALBATROSS. With great big huge LONG WINGS."

It comes from the movie "A Wish for Wings that Work" (1991), starring Opus and Bill.  It is one of my husband's favorite animated Christmas movies, so he really likes this little guy.

(The kiwi was designed by Fuzzy Fox Designs on Etsy.)

I think I am going to end up with a flock of birds!

Well, that is what I've been to this week...
...hope everyone is having a great week stitching!

  2. Love love love the kiwi! And the whale tail looks completely normal, if you hadn't mentioned it we'd never have known! New to your blog, enjoying cruising around for a sticky beak!

    1. Thank you Toneea! I'm so glad that the mistake on the whale's tail isn't noticeable.
