Happy Thursday!
Today is check-in day for Stitching Lotus's Smalls SAL...
(I've missed the last couple check-ins, so I was really pleased that I had time to get some "smalls' completed this month.)
My "smalls' projects for this update are from the Etsy shop dinosaur spaceshop...
Mini Star Wars spaceships!
There are 6 different patterns and I have completed 2 of them...
...mini Millennium Falcon
(Just to show the size of the finished ship.)
...and, a mini Death Star
Having a lot of fun working on these projects...
...they are really cute and stitch up fairly quickly. (The 2 I've completed took around 4 -5 hours each.)
...
Besides my small projects, I've been working on a few other projects...
My princess Ariel piece is coming along really well.
-where I left off-
-where I am now-
"EYE see you!"
(Pattern by Stitchering on Etsy)
Then I started a new mommy and baby set...
Mommy and baby fox...
(Pattern is from Cross Stitcher magazine, issue number 302)
Lastly, I started a new project...
It will be a cute, green dinosaur...
(Pattern is from Daily Cross Stitch)
So, that is what I've been up to...
Otherwise, it has been a rough couple of days. My back went out, so I haven't been able to do much and I think I've come down with a touch of the flu. Hopefully a little rest and I will be as good as new in a couple days.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by and I hope everybody has a great weekend.
Take care of you!.. I love that little Millennium Falcon -- A friend of mine just bought a Millennium Falcon Blue tooth Speaker - it is so cool. Thank you for sharing Ariel is coming along nicely
ReplyDeleteThank you Melinda! After a couple days of rest, I was feeling much better.
DeleteVery cool blue tooth speaker!
Hope you are soon feeling much better.
ReplyDeleteAriel is growing so lovely.
Thank you Julie! It took a couple days, but I did start to feel much better.
DeleteI am really enjoying working on the Ariel piece; it is fun to watch it grow.

ReplyDeleteThanks Justine! The one good thing about not feeling well, lots of stitching time. :)
DeleteHi Carrie, so sweet smalls! And I Hope you feel better soon. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie! It took a couple days, but I am feeling much better.
DeleteHope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Star Wars minis... better not show this to my son ;)
Ariel is really cute too, I can't wait to see her grow.
Thanks Ingrid! I am thankfully feeling much better.
DeleteMy son is going to have a Star Wars filled bedroom soon; I just keep finding all these patterns and I can't resist.
I LOVE those mini spaceships (although technically the Death Star isn't a spaceship - it's a Death Star LOL). I think I might need to get them. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteAriel is quite freaky with that one large eye though, I am sure she will look lovely with two of them!
Thanks Jo!
DeleteAriel is definitely a tad creepy with only one eye, but I love the blue color used in it. (I think it is one of my new favorite floss colors.)
Great progress on your WIPs esp. Ariel, I agree, she needs to have the other eye pronto, haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gominam!
DeleteDefinitely have to put in more work on Ariel, so she doesn't look so scary. :)
Fantastic finish!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Malgorzata!
DeleteI'm so sorry you're not feeling well! Your new finishes and starts are absolutely adorable. Feel better soon! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah! It took a couple days of rest, but I am feeling much better.
DeleteYou have some very interesting finishes and WIPs. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteThank you Elfie! I tend to stitch lots of different types of patterns; it keeps it interesting for me. :)
DeleteSuch great smalls for a Star Wars fan.
ReplyDeleteYour new starts look very promising. And great progress on your WIP.
Thank you Brigitte!
DeleteHope you're feeling better soon. I can't wait to see more of the dinosaur--my nieces are into them just now.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna! Feeling much better.
DeleteI am stitching the dinosaur for my nephew; I just hope he likes it.
