"Who needs a cat bed?"

Who needs a comfy, soft cat bed, when there is a perfectly good box lying around...

I don't even want to think about the amount of money we have spent on cat beds over the years.
At one point, each cat had their own bed, plus we had a couple extra, just in case. (You know how finicky cats can be...
one day, the bed is perfect, the next, it's like the bed grew teeth and the cats won't go near it!)

Well now, I have discovered the secret to keeping cats happy with their beds...
simply lay an empty box on the floor and wait for them to find it.

Cooper and Hoss have not left the box alone since Christmas day.
They even fight over it!
(Cooper is the main one that gets a little crabby if Hoss is in the box and he thinks it's his turn.)

Well, at least now I know what to get the cats next year for Christmas...
A whole box maze to keep them happy!

Stitching Update:

I have a couple pictures of my current WIP...
(See there, trying out the 'stitching lingo', I've picked up reading other cross stitch blogs.)

I am currently working on a project featuring the Scooby Doo Gang.
(This project is all mine!  I have loved Scooby Doo since I was a kid and still enjoy watching all the movies with my son.  So, this is a piece that I really wanted to make for myself.)

So far, I have spent about 4 - 5 hours stitching...
(I know, I am a very slow stitcher!)

I have been putting in more work since I took these photos and hope to have an update of my progress soon!
(It is really coming together nicely!)
If you are interested in this piece, you can find at cloudsfactory on Etsy.

Well, that is all for me today!
Lots of shop work to catch up on...
So, I bid everyone a good afternoon!
(Hope everybody stays warm, it is supposed to get bitter cold here, in the U.P. of Michigan.)

    1. Thank you very much for stopping by Noni!
I don't know what it is about cats and boxes, they just have to try to stuff themselves into them!
