Happy March

Finally managed a few free moments to write an update...

I am woefully late with my February Smalls SAL update...
(I did complete the stitching of the piece in February, but I forgot to post the update.)
...but here was my "small" finish for February...
Another Neko Atsume cat...
(not sure which one this is...
...I have played the game, but I can never remember all the different names.)

As I predicted, I did not finish my February magazine start...
...poor little snowman...
I will certainly be pulling him back out, as he is just too cute to leave unfinished for long.

Well, with a new month, a new magazine start...
"Luck 'O the Irish", from the April 2017 issue of Just Cross Stitching magazine.
(Crossing my fingers that I should have this one done, before the month is over.)

Another Disney princess was completed, too...
Meg, from the movie Hercules...
...not sure if I am completely happy with the finished piece.  I may redo it on plain white fabric. (I think my tea-dyed fabric blended in too much with her skin tone color.)

I did pull out my Dragon Age: Inquisition symbol and put in a few more stitches...
Managed to finish an entire page...
...only 3 more pages to go!

I couldn't resist the re-release of the monthly fruit sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery...
I just had to buy the pattern and start stitching...
I decided to stitch each month separately...
(I have this grand plan of having a "wall of the month" in my craft room, featuring "monthly" pieces.)

Lastly, I tried my hand at ice dying fabric...
(my set up)

And the results...

The results are okay...
...not exactly what I had in mind, but it was a learning experience and now I have ideas of what to try the next time.

Well, I am off to work on some more stitching...
...hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Great stitching too. My favourite this time has to be the Irish themed one :)
