(Okay, I am going to let my inner "fan-girl" out for a moment...)
Is anyone else excited for the premiere of the new Sherlock episode?
Sherlock: The Abominable Bride is set to air tonight, on Masterpiece Theater at 8pm (CST) and I am truly delighted! (I've had my DVR set all week, so I wouldn't miss a minute of it.)
I have really loved this version of the Sherlock story and am very excited to see how they handle a case in Victorian times...
it ought to be very interesting.
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming....
...I will end my "fan-girl" squealing now and carry on stitching.
I'm glad Sherlock lives on; I'm still attached to Jeremy Brett. I can't get into the new series because it's in color - I'm so used to it in black and white! Happy viewing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Claudette! I'll have to check out the Jeremy Brett version, since I just love anything to do with the Sherlock story.
DeleteI'm a closet Sherlock fan too and absolutely loved this episode. First class script writing and acting from all involved. I hope you weren't disappointed. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! I quite enjoyed the episode. I will definitely have to re-watch it, since I got a little lost with all the flashbacks/flash-forwards, but I still really liked it.
DeleteWe watched this for the first time last night, and now I think we are hooked...at least I am! I see some binge watching in my future! Wondering how this one slipped by me....
ReplyDeleteI was hooked the minute I rented the first DVD from Netflix. I had to run out and buy the series, so I could watch it all in one sitting.
DeleteOh yes! Another fan here. Haven't seen it yet, recorded and just waiting for a time the whole family can sit and watch it together.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family enjoy the episode, Cath!
